Cancellations/Refund Policy
Unless otherwise specified in the event registration information, the following cancellation and refund policy will apply. An attendee may cancel his/her registration and request a refund, if the greater of 3 business days or 72 hours notice is given prior to the event date/time. A $10 cancellation fee will apply. No refund is available for events in which the registration fee is $15 or less. To cancel and request a refund, please use the contact provided in the registration information, and if none is provided, submit your request to admin@oseia.org. Cancellations cannot be made on-line.
Privacy Policy
This web site is owned and operated by the Oregon Solar Energy Industries Association (OSEIA), a non-profit trade association. We respect the privacy of our members and visitors and are providing this Privacy Policy to inform you of what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it secure.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
Personally identifiable information is only collected when you voluntarily provide it by filling out a form, sending us an email, or making other direct contacts. We do not sell or rent this information to any third parties. We do, however, share this information with affiliated organizations as necessary to fulfill your requests for information or services, and/or to provide membership benefits. From time to time we will provide information about events or other products and services that we believe are valuable to our members. We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card information), it is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon on your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the web page address (the "s" indicates a secure connection).
In addition to using encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only administrators who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are also kept in a secure environment.
