OSEIA Committees

OSEIA's membership is active in creating the direction of the organization through their involvement in the following committees:

Legislative and Public Policy Committee

Description:  Oregon Solar Energy Industries Committee on Legislation and Public Policy.
Chair:  Bob Beisner, SolarWorld

Workforce and Training Committee

Description:
The OSEIA Workforce Committee will focus on two key deliverables:
1.Member Workforce Services:  Support and guide OSEIA as a value-added, knowledgeable broker that aggregates the demand for relevant and timely education and training services for member companies, so that OSEIA can procure and deliver appropriate services from industry experts and/or education and training providers.

2. Industry Information Services:  Develop a depth of knowledge and forecasting about the workforce needs of the solar industry, for all skill levels and types of member companies, and act as an informed resource and advocate with policy makers, education and training providers, and agencies to ensure an adequate supply of workers to support the growth of the solar industry in Oregon.

Monthly Committee Meeting:  The second Monday of each month, 10:30 A.M. -12:00 P.M. at the OSEIA offices.

Description:  Oregon Solar Energy Industries Committee on Best Standards and Practices.

Description:  A sub-committee that reports to the Best Standards and Practices Committee.
